Random Public Drawing Necessary

LDV’s public enrollment period started on January 13, 2026 and ended on March 20, 2026 at 4:00 pm. Any student interested in enrollment after March 20, 2026 will automatically be put on the waiting list. LDV is currently on Spring Break until April 6, 2026.

In the event that the number of students who wish to attend LdV exceeds the Charter School’s capacity, LdV holds a public random drawing to determine enrollment for each impacted grade level, with the exception of existing students who are guaranteed admission in the following year. Siblings of existing students are guaranteed admission, as long as space allows.

For any TK/K sibling of a current student at LDV and/or anyone enrolling in K, 2nd, 3rd, or 5th, the first day for picking up and submitting registration will be Monday, April 6, 2026. Our office hours are 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. To secure your child’s spot, please come in-person to the main office to pick up your registration packet. All registration paperwork must be filled out to secure your child’s spot. Your child’s spot will be held until Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 4:00 pm. IF we do not receive the necessary paperwork within this time, your child’s spot will be forfeited, and they will automatically be placed on the waitlist.

K, 2nd, 3rd, 5th – No lottery needed, may come pick up registration starting on Monday, April 6th.

Admission preferences in the case of a public random drawing are given to the following students in the following order:

1. Children of Charter School employees (not to exceed 10% of total school enrollment);

2. Siblings of students who have their names drawn during the lottery shall receive a guarantee of admission unless the sibling is to enroll in a grade that has all of its spaces already filled in the drawing, in which case the sibling would be put on the waiting list for admission to that grade ahead of all others on the waiting list for that grade;

3. All others in District.
